Bo th very fine cars, the 309 makes me feel nostalgic for my childhood seeing them and other contemporary cars everywhere that you just don’t see anymore. The 308 on the other doesn’t get the love it deserves, plenty of Journos rate the 208 and 308 gti highly but they don’t sell that well, which is a shame.

I haven’t really read much about the 308 but I know I want to own a 309 gti at some point. My mom used to own a 309 (not a gti though) and she owned it for something like +13 years. I think it might have been her favourite out of the cars she owned.

I would take both. The 309 is brilliant, with the 205 the best gti of the 1980s .
The 308 is among the best current hot hatches, depending on your prefences.

That looks awesome! I want a 309 GTI badly, mostly because my grandpa had a base model 309 when I was a kid. Being exposed to it that much, has made me love the shape of them.

I quite like a 309 too, I think they are probably a little cheaper than the 205 and more practical. Old Peugeot s are typically reliable
